Finland had a difficult time remaining neutral during WW2, but they managed to do it.

Finland joining NATO is a huge deal to a lot of people.

This is slightly off-topic, but the only remaining audio recording of Adolf Hitler's voice, other than Nazi produced movies, is of him talking to Mannerheim, begging Mannerheim to join him in an offensive against the Soviets.

Finland would not ally with the Nazis, but here they're joining the 'soon to be' Fourth Reich, going up against the same Commies.

I don't know if the world is more scary now, than it was many decades ago, probably not.

We sure have (or should I say had) a higher standard of living than the people who came years before us. Much more convient and plush, but we became slaves to money just to pay for it.

Not saying that I'm more righteous, I'm a slave to money (and toys).
