Being informed about an investigation and intervening in it are two very different things. Rather than relying on a single text without context (cherry-picking again, are ya?), I'm content to wait on the forthcoming DOJ IG report of this very issue. As for Obama possibly telling a lie, what are your feelings about the 2,000 your Dear Leader has told in the past year?

Lastly, you Trump lemmings have somehow bought into the notion that the grand total of any malfeasance by Obama, Hillary and Trump are a zero sum game. In other words, any crimes or unethical conduct by Hillary or Obama somehow obviate the need to investigate Trump's. It doesn't work that way. Hillary being crooked (she is IMHO) has no bearing on Trump's guilt for innocence of collusion, financial crimes or obstruction of justice.

Anyone with an ounce of sense dreaded the idea of this idiot becoming president. FBI agents have plenty of sense, but should have known that their text messages would be subjected to scrutiny. Unfortunately, they can also be twisted into far more than they were meant to be by devious minds, to the delight of morons like Whell.

It was just common sense to be realistic about Trump's competence and qualification as a candidate for POTUS, based on his record and the public interest.

FBI Director James Comey closed the Clinton email investigation on July 5, 2016. It was not reopened until October. The same trove of text messages released Tuesday reveals that the FBI did not even become aware of additional emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop until September 28, 2016...

Citing anonymous "associates of the FBI employees involved," the Wall Street Journal is reporting the briefing was indeed about Russia, not Clinton.

I'm getting a little bored by this incompetent conspiracy by Trump and his minions to obstruct justice, though it is entertaining and is destroying the careers of some real low-lives (Nunes, Johnson, Jordan). It's also adding to the evidence of Trump and Co. conspiring to obstruct justice (and fool gullible lemmings like Whell).

Breathless. That's funny. Speaking of context, to make your comment above you have to completely ignore Obama's own statement on his involvement / knowledge of the investigation. You also have to ignore the additional gravity within the FBI that comes with the knowledge that the POTUS is paying close attention to an investigation.

It has been leaked that Obama ordered Comey to wiretap the Trump tower. Nunes is now investigating this.

Also caught on video, Ivanka walking hand in hand with Quincy Jones into the Trump Tower. Trump is trying to get this video scrubbed.
