More than one person has suggested a history forum, and on a political board it makes perfect sense. There are plenty of what ifs to consider, and plenty of room to argue about the winner getting to write history.

Here's a historical missive: if the French had actually backed Pontiac's Rebellion instead of making peace with the British and telling us (the Ottawa) after we laid siege to a bunch of cities in "the colonies" which eventually failed, we'd all be speaking French and not bastardized English.
