2nd Stimulus Package
This place is getting like a morgue, so...
Another stimulus package, need it or not? Any thoughts, Chas |
I didn't see a minutes work or a dime from the first one, so I'd say no. I don't really think it matters what the working middle class thinks though. We can melt the phone lines on capitol hill, but senators still vote however "they" want to. I'm not talking about my senator, just senators in general. I think we're in so deep now that even a swing back in 2010 won't do much to help. I've resolved to just go along for the ride and observe. I used to be disgusted, now I try to be amused.

What's a neocon?

Neoconservative – A "neocon" is more inclined than other conservatives toward vigorous government in the service of the goals of traditional morality and pro-business policies. Tends to favor a very strong foreign policy of America as well.

An in depth look at the term "Neoconservative". Apparently liberals and socialists who joined the Republican party. Personally, I think the term "Neocon" is now just a slur used to describe the political right. Many Republicans refer to them as "RHINO's". Personally, I don't put much stock in terms of this nature. Personally an independent conservative but thanks to the screwed-up electoral system one must register as either Democrat or Republican to get a say in the primraries.

I just saw where the top tax rate in Noo Yawk could easily be as high as 60%...I don't care how rich you are, & I'll NEVER be that rich, but that is just too much...Something is seriously outta whack here...

Sad thing is, even if the Feds taxed everyone at 100% they still couldn't cover their bets. Ain't enough tea in China. As someone who is debt free, with money in the bank, a few assets, and modest investments...I'm beginning to get a case of the ass. No doubt who they're going to get to pay for their extravagance...cain't get blood outta a turnip...and they can bleed me. At least the rich can move their money offshore. And don't think they won't, big help for the economy...huh. Chas |
