Idiots on the march in Virginia

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/vio...cid=spartanntp

Yeah, right; "Heritage not Hate".

I am just about absolutely certain that certain alt-Right and Trump supporters in my life will resume complaining about the removal of Confederate statues, claiming that "Liberals" are behind it and they're doing it just to cause such riots...... Yeah, that's what it is.

Oh, a Fox News talking head just claimed the "counter-protesters" were bussed in form "out of town" and that they "....may have been professional trouble-starters.", as he held up a card with the label "Unicorn Riot" on it.

Here we go, wingnuts will soon be blaming the entire thing on "Liberals".

Come on, Whell, you have a duty to stick to your narrative. Get to it, Stooge.

BlueStreak 08-12-2017 12:12 PM

Trump FINALLY released a statement. He probably had to consult with the Fascists in his cabinet before tweeting. Have to keep up the façade, after all.

Link? Can't find a thing from the fascist in chief.

Trump's only concerns about Charlottesville are that his hotel and winery there are safe.

Any questions as to what the Stars and Bars stands for these days?

No Stars and Bars in that picture. Although there are a few Army of Tennessee battle flags, one of the losingest armies ever.

Here's Trump's tweet. Very non-specific.

King Orangutan will speak soon. I guess it's a difficult situation when he spent a year courting their votes and now he must go before the cameras and pretend he has no idea where the shit comes from?

Spare us your bullshit. Call it whatever you like, the Confederate flag represents hate and bigotry. Always has. It isn't even fit for use as toilet paper.

bobabode 08-12-2017 02:39 PM

Just watched somebody drive through a crowd of protesters and smash into some other cars. Multiple serious injuries.

Chicks 08-12-2017 02:49 PM

Where's whell today? Out marching with his bigoted buddies?

No BS at all. Guess you missed my post's primary point, made in the second sentence.

bobabode 08-12-2017 03:10 PM

One dead in the car attack on anti-fascist protesters. :(

Yeah, that was horrible. WTF? Hoping for Solace for the families of the deceased and healing for those injured.

Anybody see that speech the King just made? Holy crap, he is horrible. About 1 minute on the events in Charlottesville and ten minutes of "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! I'M SO FABULOUS!"..... Good Grief.

The end of this administration just can't come fast enough.

Terrible. The real violence starts.

from your link:

The footage shows three cars plowing into a group of pedestrians, with one of the vehicles pushing the other two deeper into the crowd before backing up into more people.
Sounds like a terrorist action by a group--can't write this off as a 'lone crazy....'

Chicks - I know this is hard, but try not to be an ass. No one in their right mind would condone the actions of anyone in that crowd today. Its hate on the march.

But there's a fair amount of hate in your post above as well. What's happening in VA is bad enough, but try not to spread it around.

whell 08-12-2017 04:47 PM

I guess any ass hole can show up at a rally of ass holes and wave whatever banner they brought with them.

Blue hate is the lesser of two hates. That being said, hate is hate.

You really don't get it, do you? This is Trump's base. They love the fascist. Your undying support for Trump makes you and your ilk just as guilty as those who salute your Dear Leader.

finnbow 08-12-2017 05:24 PM

If these hateful racist Trump foot soldiers want to demonstrate they should stay home and protest in their own redneck shithole towns and not bring their hatred to Charlottesville, a beautiful, peaceful city dedicated to higher education, something every one of those pricks disdains.

That said, those who rightfully despise these neo-Nazi pricks should learn to ignore them. They go to places like Portland and Charlottesville in an effort to provoke a violent response and thereby make themselves martyrs for their hateful cause. Needless to say, Trump won't condemn the Alt-Right, Neo-Nazi and KKK perpetrators of this mess as they represent his loyal and newly empowered supporters.

The end of this administration just can't come fast enough.

We're watching your governor, Terry McAullife and the civic leaders of Charlotteville give a press conference right now. That's real leadership in the face of bigotry and racism.

If you're referring to me, I've never been a Democrat. I voted Republican while in the military, as most of us did, mostly on pocketbook issues. Voted for Obama twice, who history will show to be one of our top tier presidents. Had to hold my nose to vote for Hillary, but the choice between her and a chimpanzee would have been just as easy for anyone capable of rational thought.

I've never been a card-carying member of any party. Both have way too many issues to gain my loyalty, so I vote as an independent for the most qualified candidates.

Lee Park has a nice statue of Mars Lee that is getting some scrutiny. I was dining out with some friends in Bishop Arts District last night and when the statue came up I said it should be kept with a new historic marker pointing out that Bobby Lee was a traitor and a mediocre Army commander to boot.

I was referring to our divisive blue/red dynamic.

President Donald Trump declined to condemn the violent actions and protests of white supremacists on Saturday, who had converged on Charlottesville, Va., en masse to protest the removal of a statue of a Confederate general.

The clashes killed at least one person and injured a number of others.

Instead, Trump called out in what he deemed the strongest possible terms "this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides — on many sides.” Yet, he never denounced by name the extremist group, or called their behavior unacceptable. He made his pronouncements from his golf club in New Jersey just before signing a bill related to veterans’ health care.
The asshole refuses to call out these neo Nazis, because they are his most ardent supporters. I just hope Mueller can nail the ass quickly for the tax evasion and money laundering everyone knows he's guilty of.

1. Vladimir Putin
2. White Supremacists
3. Neo-Nazis terrorists"

Somehow I doubt that Mueller will succeed where the IRS has failed and pretty sure The Donald's already paid the penalty for the money laundering charge.

Yet, Trump's non-specific criticism was still too much for David Duke.

Former KKK leader David Duke struck out at President Donald Trump for condemning the violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

In a series of tweets Duke questioned why the president, whom he usually supports, is attacking white Americans who put him "in the presidency."
