True enough. Is this why you're confused? You do realize the WSM/Nazi demonstration and it's tragic result provided these foot dragging politicians with the real world motivation they needed to get rid of the statues?

The Mayor sounds like a very thoughtful, upright guy. I would expect nothing less in Charlottesville. Love the place and hate what the Nazis did to it (and this is coming from a Hokie;)).

Boston readying for the onslaught of the haters today. Thousands expected to attend the "Free Speech" rally. More like the Hate Speech rally.

Spent several days in Boston during BU graduation earlier this year, right at Boston Common. Such a beautiful setting in a beautiful city, the cradle of liberty. Walked for miles through the Public Garden and historic old city. So sad to see that the haters have chosen this spot for their disgusting demonstrations. I hope for peace, but expect more violence, given the moral bankruptcy of our country's "leader".

The NeoNazis and Alt Right deliberately pick places like Berkeley, Portland, Charlottesville and Boston - all liberal, educated cities whose citizens vehemently despise their ideology. They simply want to stoke negative reactions so they can play the victim. Why don't they go the very same places Trump goes to get his needed dose of adulation?

intended provocation.

Thousands of counter-protesters showing up in Boston. No doubt will outnumber the crowd at Trump's inauguration, which will drive him nuts, lol. The nazis won't dare to try their violence here, they will not escape the crowds.

If this doesn't show them shrines to white supremacy, what are they in that context?

Boston was a total non-event for the haters. Maybe 50, at most, vs thousands of good people. One idiot wore a MAGA hat among the counter-protesters, which earned him a punch in the face and a police escort out. Pathetic.

No doubt the idiots will claim Soros paid the counter-protesters to show up, lol.

Excellent. First they're going to have multiple follow-ups this weekend, then it consolidated down to one in Boston, then they can't get hardly anyone out for that. Best way it could have gone.

It was the murder at Charleston that did it. Not so many are up for it when the shit gets real. Good thing, that.
