Disturbing sight, children should not have to be subjected to this. Rick Scott called the shooting pure evil. I say it's the evil people who are letting this happen time and again. |
(PARKLAND, Fla.) — The leader of a white nationalist militia says Florida school shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz was a member of his group and participated in paramilitary drills in Tallahassee.
Jordan Jereb told The Associated Press on Thursday that his group wants Florida to become its own white ethno-state. He said his group holds “spontaneous random demonstrations” and tries not to participate in the modern world. |
Do these militia groups break any laws with their recruitment and training?
I was just thinking that if they were not recruiting and training, that might help stop some of the gun violence. But I do not see how they could be shut down if they are not breaking any laws. |
Maybe Trump should completely ban all gun sales for 90 days until Congress can "figure out what the hell is going on." (his rationale for his Muslim ban).
Instead, "Trump quietly signed a bill into law Tuesday rolling back an Obama-era regulation that made it harder for people with mental illnesses to purchase a gun. The rule, which was finalized in December, added people receiving Social Security checks for mental illnesses and people deemed unfit to handle their own financial affairs to the national background check database." https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...mental-n727221 |
Gee Finn.... I do not think the NRA would like Trump to take any action.
https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2018/02/15/...ommentary.html Seems Trump might be a bit beholden to the NRA. |
What exactly is the real reason the Gun lobby/right is against regulations I ask?
Personal freedoms? No! Self Defense? No! Sales and Profits? Hell Yea! It all about the money. Like been said more then once about all politicians, follow the money. Barney |
