Very glad this was successfully prosecuted. People on the industry side should go down for this too.

A top Donald Trump campaign adviser — who apparently was shown classified documents by the former president — has a top post at a lobbying firm serving Chinese entities that potentially pose a national security threat and help Beijing commit human rights abuses.

Susie Wiles works on Trump’s 2024 campaign and is co-chair of Mercury Public Affairs, which has taken millions of dollars in recent years from Chinese companies such as Yealink, Hikvision and Alibaba.

Wiles, a veteran of several GOP campaigns including Ron DeSantis’ 2018 run for Florida governor, has also been identified as one of several people to whom the 45th president allegedly revealed sensitive material, ABC News reported late Wednesday.

So, after the GOP's accusations of Biden being in cahoots with China, we find out that a top Trump campaign operative, with whom he illegally shared classified information, also works for China. Once again, every accusation is a confession.

^^ More information regarding Wiles and her connections to Trump campaign here.

Top Trump campaign aide Susie Wiles met numerous times with special counsel investigators in documents probe

Quote:

Wiles, one of Trump’s closest advisers, is effectively running his third bid for the presidency and has taken an active role in Trump’s legal strategy, including helping find lawyers and helping arrange payment to attorneys representing Trump associates being questioned in the multiple federal and state investigations into the former president.

Wiles is also a close associate of Chris Kise, who is on Trump’s legal team and appeared in court earlier this month when Trump was indicted.

Sources in Trump’s inner circle tell CNN they were blindsided by the news.

Wiles declined to comment to CNN.

Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung told CNN that Wiles would not be taking a step back from the campaign.
The bolded text does not make any sense. What news?
But if she is already talking to the special counsel's team, lets see how this pans out.

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and his city staff joined forces with developer Rishi Kapoor to draft a new city law that the developer saw as vital for his $70 million Coconut Grove real estate project, according to emails from the mayor’s office obtained by the Miami Herald. Kapoor later paid Suarez at least $170,000 for consulting for the developer in regular $10,000 increments dating back to at least 2021.

The mayor’s financial deal with the developer is currently under federal investigation following a Herald report detailing how an aide to the mayor helped Kapoor sidestep a permitting issue that threatened the viability of the project in 2022.

Conservative billionaires fund move away from former president

Quote:

Longtime conservative check-writers the Koch family are reportedly working to make sure Donald Trump doesn’t win the 2024 Republican primary, according to a new report.

Americans for Prosperity Action, a network of political organisations created by Charles and David Koch, will spend money for the first time in its existence on the Republican presidential primary. It has already raised more than $70m to fund races that officials hope will help the Republican party move past Mr Trump, according to the New York Times.
The article does not say how they plan to stop Trump from winning the Republican primary, especially since DeSantis is tanking big time. In desperation DeSantis is now touting his anti LGBT credentials and actions in Florida. This got Disney riled up and now he is doubling down.

If I were to advise Americans for Prosperity Action, they should be putting their money on Christie, not that he will win but they will get their money's worth. Unless Trump's legal problems sabotages his prospects, do not see anyone stopping him.
