Two Seperate Realities
 

Two takes on the "Pence goes to Hamilton" story. It's interesting to look at the comments. There is no mixture. It's all people who think one way at the first site, and all people who think the other way at the other. It's a stark illustration of the 'everybody to their own echo-chamber' phenomena.

(It is not my intent to suggest the two views are 'seperate but equal,' btw. I'm just saying how seperate they are. The lefties get some licks in, but there are persons reaching out for understanding as well. The right wingers, by contrast, are consistently stereotyping and hostile.)

After all the racist, xenophobic and misogynist BS that Trump and Co. have been slinging for over a year, they deserve every bit of opprobrium they receive. A Broadway play may not have been the right time or place, but a lot of people in this country feel rightly threatened by Trump's rhetoric (not to mention his cabinet picks thus far). The Right can sure dish it out, by they sure can't take it. Pussies.

So the right jeers when liberals talk of 'safe space,' but suddenly it's different?

While Trump was talking about a 'Second Amendment Solution', he did not realize that he was using the 'First'.

As long as it wasn't during the performance I'm okay with it.
