Dinesh D’Souza Indicted for Violating Campaign Finance Laws
 

Conservative pundit and author of “The Roots of Obama’s Rage” (in which he asserts that Obama is motivated largely by the “inherited rage” of his absent Kenyan father) was indicted for illegally reimbursing associates whom he asked to make donations valued at $20,000 to an unnamed Senate campaign. At the time, primary and general election campaign contributions to federal candidates were limited to $2,500 each from any individual to any single candidate.

In their own minds, yes. In fact, they remain so in their own minds. From Christie to McDonnell to D'Souza, they feel that their transgressions, when discovered, are somehow the Dem's collective fault. Go figure.

Are you saying that these are trumped up and false charges?

It's possible he was scutinized but evidence indicts, not observation.
