Old thought has a simple solution and I stand behind it. We should live closer to each other. Living close requires fewer pipes and reduced maintenance costs. An added benefit might be that we hang out together instead of on the internet.

:D

Maybe we should live closer to each other but we don't. Let's suppose, however, that we were to work on that. It'll take time, lots of time. What do we drink in the meantime?

Sorry, if you want to risk a visit from some Internet crazy you can. I'll try to avoid. I've seen some crazy here and there, too.

There was a crazy who use to post (not for long) here. Claimed he had exceptional internet skills.

That would not do much good in my case - our water come from 300 feet under the front lawn and the sewage all gets filtered via the back forty.;)

Oh, okay. My mistake. I thought you were trying to have a serious conversation.

I am Ed Bacon.

Or so you would have us believe. ;)

From what I understand using river water for potable consumption is common place...the water has to be treated in a certain matter however because of higher concentration of salt than is found in the Great Lakes. I guess Snyder and Company overlooked that. Would they have been so careless with a city full of Republicans?

Gov. Rick Snyder and his emergency managers in Flint should be taken out back of the statehouse and beaten with lead filled pipes.
