Marco Rubio, responding to Trump's stupidity:

"Partnering with Putin on a 'Cyber Security Unit' is akin to partnering with Assad on a 'Chemical Weapons Unit.'

Hack the elections
Hack into election systems

Before we reach stupidity we will want to know what is this "Cyber Security Unit".

No, we reached the stupid phase long ago with Trump and the gang, not to mention the fools who were dumb enough to vote for the ultimate con man.

Rubio got it exactly right.

Do you know what is this Cyber Security Unit?

Are you really this dense? You simply don't collude with a country that is actively targeting your election systems. You sanction them. Congress, thankfully, knows this full well. I hope they have the courage to finally stand up to Trump on this, just as the states are standing up against his bullshit "voter fraud" commission.

It is a figleaf of appeasement. Trump acts more and more like a guilty puppet whom Putin has 'kompromat' on.

Didn't take long for the adults in the Republican party to discredit Trump's idiot idea.

Three Republican senators - Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, John McCain of Arizona and Mario Rubio of Florida - blasted the idea.

"It's not the dumbest idea I have ever heard but it's pretty close," Graham told NBC's "Meet the Press" program, saying that Trump's apparent willingness to "forgive and forget" stiffened his resolve to pass legislation imposing sanctions on Russia.

"There has been no penalty," McCain, who chairs the Senate armed services committee, told CBS' "Face the Nation" program according to a CBS transcript. "Vladimir Putin ... got away with literally trying to change the outcome ... of our election."

"Yes, it's time to move forward. But there has to be a price to pay," he added.

Rubio, on Twitter, said: "Partnering with Putin on a 'Cyber Security Unit' is akin to partnering with (Syrian President Bashar al) Assad on a 'Chemical Weapons Unit'."

A figment of Trump's imagination is not real so no one knows.
But the concept itself is impractical since that would require the US to share it's cyber security apparatus to the Russians and that in itself is dangerous.

So accept Marco Rubio's analysis and let's move on.
