Just For You Harman Kardon...YGTLW(Read the first page of this thread before posting)

DNU It's going to be a looooong weekend for our friends at AK, so. DNU

You start it Chris and explain the rules for these miscreants here. ;)

HarmanKardon 10-02-2015 02:43 AM

What a nice idea, my very good friend.

There are many many rules, and game founder "Rome" (Don) listed them in the very first post of this thread which has more than 58000 replies now, I am the top poster in the thread with more than 7200 posts.

Anyway - the basic rule is simple. I start a sentence and the next poster carries on with the last word of this sentence. Only one sentence. A period, an exclamation mark or a question mark ends a sentence. Let us keep the game more simple here. Just one more rule: If there is more than one post within 3 minutes, starting with the same word, the last word of the last post counts.

And just one more thing: "You Get The Last Word" is a game that really suffers from trolling instantly - so if you like to participate, please follow the rules strictly.

Okay, let's start with three examples:

HarmanKardon 10-02-2015 02:44 AM

Audiokarma will be offline this weekend.

HarmanKardon 10-02-2015 02:45 AM

Weekend without AK will be not easy for a bunch of AK addicts.

HarmanKardon 10-02-2015 02:47 AM

Addicts need professional aid.

DNU

DNU means "Do not use as last word" and this is a tool in order to post remarks without disturbing the flow of the game. Carry on now with the last word "Aid".

DNU

d-ray657 10-02-2015 07:51 AM

Aid your neighbor and you will find satisfaction.

HarmanKardon 10-02-2015 07:56 AM

Satisfaction is what Mick could not find.

d-ray657 10-02-2015 09:10 AM

Find it or not, Otis Redding could sure sing it.

donquixote99 10-02-2015 10:15 AM

It's news to me that Otis did that, it's great--more than just a cover!

HarmanKardon 10-02-2015 10:52 AM

Cover your private parts in public!

bobabode 10-02-2015 11:57 AM

Public sunbathing in the Netherlands can be a feast for the eyes.

4-2-7 10-02-2015 12:02 PM

Eyes that glisten in the lights.

HarmanKardon 10-02-2015 12:03 PM

Lights - tiny ones - in a city are an issue in a song by Frank Zappa.

Boreas 10-02-2015 12:04 PM

Lights out, little sleepy head.

HarmanKardon 10-02-2015 12:07 PM

Head first!

DNU

Please, fellow game players, use EXACTLY the last word, above: the plural and not the singular. Next word is "First".

DNU

d-ray657 10-02-2015 01:30 PM

First one to break the rules gets ostracized.

HarmanKardon 10-02-2015 01:31 PM

"Ostracized" is a word that I have to look up.

bobabode 10-02-2015 01:39 PM

Up your nose.

d-ray657 10-02-2015 01:46 PM

Nose candy is for people who have too much money and too little sense.

bobabode 10-02-2015 01:59 PM

Sense is shorthand for sensemilla, without seeds.

d-ray657 10-02-2015 02:03 PM

Seeds are no issue if you have a good strainer.

Boreas 10-02-2015 03:03 PM

Strainer is a very hard word to use at the beginning of a sentence. ;)

(I wasn't sure whether the objective was to set up the next shot, or to create a challenge. In any event, the next sentence is below.)

Sentence structure creates demands that challenge facile word usage.

donquixote99 10-02-2015 03:48 PM

Usage is the main basis of utility billing, but it gets complicated.

Boreas 10-02-2015 04:02 PM

Complicated problems often require complicated solutions.

d-ray657 10-02-2015 04:02 PM

Solutions composed of water and oil are rarely successful.

mpholland 10-02-2015 05:47 PM

Successful solutions are better enacted before a problem arises.

barbara 10-02-2015 05:53 PM

Arise, fellow members and find out what this thread is all about!

barbara 10-02-2015 05:54 PM

Uhhhhh...... I just realized I didn't use the correct term of the word..... Arise.... Arises.

Does this mean I lose in the game??

No losers in this game. Just reword it. :)

4-2-7 10-02-2015 10:47 PM

it is just what it is.

d-ray657 10-03-2015 12:44 AM

Is it not enough for you to corrupt other threads?

About a half day this game worked without infraction.

DNU

Hello classroom! I see that things are pretty fine so far. Barbara you are still Welcome in the game, as Bob already said. But actually, as I already said, the sense of the game is to use exactly the last word, in your case, as you noticed, the plural and not the singular. No biggie this time.

The game totally derailed in the next posts, do not forget to put comments in a DNU bracket. Nothing else to say than to carry on with my last word "infraction"

DNU

donquixote99 10-03-2015 01:30 AM

Arises, as usual, a snafu.

HarmanKardon 10-03-2015 01:33 AM

Infraction in this game may happen from time to time.

DNU

Next word is "time".

DNU

donquixote99 10-03-2015 01:37 AM

Time to dispose of the snafu, it seems.

Rajoo 10-03-2015 01:52 AM

Seems is a word often used by the diffident.

HarmanKardon 10-03-2015 01:57 AM

"Diffident" is in a way related to "modest".

Rajoo 10-03-2015 02:04 AM

Modest people get tongue tied.

HarmanKardon 10-03-2015 02:39 AM

Tied house is a public house supplying one brewer's beers.
