Japanese debate limited preemptive strike capacity

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories...09-01-23-30-16

TOKYO (AP) -- Japan is debating whether to develop a limited pre-emptive strike capability and buy cruise missiles - ideas that were anathema in the pacifist country before the North Korea missile threat.

With revisions to Japan's defense plans underway, ruling party hawks are accelerating the moves, and some defense experts say Japan should at least consider them.

Rewind the tape to April 2016 when Trump was raked over the coals by the left and the media for daring to suggest that Japan should defend itself. Hmmm....

Japan has a home defense force. This would merely be an extension of that defense system. I have no problem with any country being able to defend themselves. We should have eased up on the restrictions imposed on Japan years ago.

That being said Trump needs to shut his gaping, arrogant, self aggrandizing, hole. He is a worthless piece of cowardly, draft-dodging, racist garbage who has every rightwing hate group from the KKK to the Neo-Nazis expressing their support for him and his agenda. THERE IS A CONNECTION. THERE IS SOMETHING THEY SEE IN THE MOTHERF***ER. I hope Mueller rids us of his disgusting, embarrassing presence. Or maybe he'll choke to death while sucking some corporate crank? Either way, I'm good with it.

Do yourself a favor and stop associating yourself with that Fascist trash before you end up living the rest of your life living it down.

Got it?

Did Trump even know what he was talking about?

Trump spoke of Japan (and South Korea) developing their own nuclear weapons, not acquiring conventionally-armed cruise missiles. So yes, Trump is still the idiot he has always been (as is anyone who still supports him).

It's a thread started by whell, a diehard Trumpie. It can be ignored, as can all threads started by whell. They're designed to provoke, not thought, of course, but baser reactions. Don't fall for it.

I observe you have regained your composure. You are only into punching.

It was, of course, a metaphorical comment on the preceding post.

Speaking of which, your post was a bit of a 'punch,' but I hope I'm right in regarding it as a good-natured one....

In any case, don't regard my state of emotion at any given moment as contradicting my basic level of sharp concern. Let me put it this way. I've never had a passport, but I'm going to get one.

You are right.

True. But, that's why I give him both. One for thoughtful reply, the other because it feels so right.
