I'm sorry, WHY does trump get to decide where Israel's capitol should be?

Basically, Israel says it's Jerusalem. Both we, until today, and everybody else said 'We're keeping our embassies in the old capital, Tel Aviv, until you and the Palestinians get Jerusalem sorted out.' Now Trump has dropped that and said 'We're going to Jerusalem.'

This will piss off some people a lot and probably get one or more things blown up. Trump figures it won't be him, so the cost is acceptable. In fact, terrorist action will play into his agenda, and actual war will will gert everyone's mind off Russiagate....

Downward, slowly but surely. Just how dumb are these remaining 32%?

1. I still think that the Jerusalem thing is Trump's bid to get an approval jump like GW enjoyed after 9/11, in the near future.

2. The Trump core is not all dumb. Many are smart, some are very smart. What they all are is tribal, and/or bonded authoritarian followers. People can be smart and still be controlled by irrational emotional motivations. In fact, that's pretty much how people work. All people.

I am not too sure about that. If they are willingly associated with Trump, they can not be too smart.

There are three kinds of people. Some want to keep what they have, some willing to share what they have and there are those that are not sure what to do. Intelligence has nothing to do with it, just preferences and comfort levels.

You omitted a fourth kind, those that are never sated and must have more, regardless of ethical considerations.

Oh those, they are a special breed and quite unique. They want your money to invest off shore since you cannot be trusted with it. All you will do is spend it on booze and women. From Chuck Grassley, another GOP weirdo.

“I think not having the estate tax recognizes the people that are investing,” Grassley told reporters last week. “As opposed to those that are just spending every darn penny they have, whether it’s on booze or women or movies.”
I am leaving out the movies since do not know anyone bankrupting themselves by going to movies. :)
