Euclid's Window: LEONARD MLODINOW

Despite the subject, it is a fun read. Mlodinow travels through the ages and asserts the primacy of geometry in the field of mathematics. He takes the reader through five revolutions of geometry under the headings: Euclid, Descartes, Gaus, Einstein, and Witten.

The Physics Of The Atom Wehr-Richard-Adair

A very good addition to my library on the atom. It strikes a better balance between mathematics and theory than the Max Born's classic - Atomic Physics.
Additionally chronology is a strong feature.
