Government Report Finds Drastic Impact of Climate Change on U.S.

Quote:

The draft report by scientists from 13 federal agencies, which has not yet been made public, concludes that Americans are feeling the effects of climate change right now. It directly contradicts claims by President Trump and members of his cabinet who say that the human contribution to climate change is uncertain, and the ability to predict the effects are limited.
Sadly, the scientists involved with authoring the draft report are afraid this idiot administration will suppress it, putting Politics over facts.

A summary, for those without a NYT subscription. Real, unbiased science, before this corrupt administration puts their political bias into it.

This is Chad Mayes, Republican leader of CA State Assembly who was forced to resign due to party politics on his vote for cap and trade.

Quote:

Mr. Mayes announced Thursday that he was stepping down in the face of criticism from conservatives over his vote. Some of them assailed Mr. Mayes for helping to pass a Democratic agenda item that they described as economically damaging and against party orthodoxy.
Quote:

“I am going to continue to keep working toward changing the image that people in California have about California Republicans,” he said. “California Republicans are different than national Republicans. We care about the environment. A huge number of California Republicans believe that climate change is real and state government has an obligation to address it. We shouldn’t be running away from it.
